This is the oldest national park in India, established in 1936 and is home to 50 species of mammal, 580 bird species and 25 reptile species. It is probably best known as the home of the endangered Bengal Tiger of India. Whether it is a guided hike around the park looking for reptiles or the more popular elephant ride safari into the jungle, it is clear why Corbett National Park is a major tourist attraction for the nature and animal lover.
